Latest Updates from Our Project:

Straps...

Straps, straps straps....

Leather and brass.

Cut from a full leather side, by hand... then trimmed, assembled and fitted.

Its a fair amount of work, but its a lot less expensive and much higher quality than buying them.

Working on other add-ons and accessories as well.

More pics when I have some finished screen sets.

Also working on a new 3d dragon scale engraving pattern.

I've got several pine units in the final stages which should ship next week, then another round of builds and sealing and more shipping.

A little over half way there... 24 or so pledges of 50 something left to go... I'm too tire to get exact numbers right now... next time.

More screens shipping
7 months ago – Fri, May 03, 2019 at 09:00:53 PM

I've got three screen sets completed and shipping this week.

That's 27 shipped and 32 remaining, getting close to half way!

Takes quite a while 1-3 days sometimes to finish sets like these, and they're not even the most complex pledges I've got.

Including pictures of shipping screens and some other work in-progress.

One thing I'm finding as I go is that there are small refinements possible which I'm implementing on each screen set. This means cleaning up angles, machining paths and some small magnet coverage spots.

Nothing to alter the pieces you all pledged for functionally just making good better.

Shipping Screens

Holy stacked DM screens Batman! What a mess.... but for me the creation process usually is. From chaos, order.

Yes, that same stack, from a new angle. and a bit more order.

Black Walnut wood shown. Some of the things you run into when maching solid wood. Knotholes. I personally like these, but not everyone does, if you don't we can re-machine using non-knotty wood. Mostly, in rare cases only this type of wood is available and in those situations we can always fill.

Back view of same panels. Functionality may or may not be affected, depending on how non-transparent you want your screen to be, and the the use... with a map or paper in the slot, those holes are no longer see-through.

Some revisions and updates to the cliffs panel, upgrades mainly and some room given for magnet placement. Mini storage slots added as well as dice pockets. Will be using this design moving forward and all new cliffs panels will features these channges. Screens already machined will not be updated.

That's all folks...

So that's this update, we'll continue to make and ship these sets until they're all done.

In some cases we may need to talk to you directly to confirm art work or things like knotholes, so if you get a call from ZucatCorp…

Thanks everyone!
